Texas Gulf Region Cooperative Weed Management Area: Dune Management & Restoration on Mustang Island

Project Description

Coastal Bend Bays and Estuaries Program will work with project partners to advocate for cooperative weed control among willing landowners and managers to prevent the spread of Brazilian peppertree. CMP funds will be used to remove Brazilian Peppertree from the Mustang Island dune system and will replant the dunes with native vegetation.
