Project Description
Project will amend two U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) permits held by the Park Board that allow beach nourishment and dune restoration projects to be undertaken on Galveston Island. Without valid USACE permits such projects could not be implemented. Currently, both permits expire on December 31, 2024 and due to the lenght of time required to amend permits it is ncessary to begin the amend process now.
