Evaluating the trophic value of beneficial uses restoration sites for coastal birds

Project Description

Texas A&M University at Galveston will assess the value of the beneficial-uses restoration sites in the Salt Bayou ecosystem for migratory and resident waterfowl and shorebirds, using invertebrate assemblages as a proxy for habitat quality. This dataset will inform future restoration practices by identifying the features of sites that best support waterfowl and shorebirds.
