Rockport Beach Nourishment

Project Description

Rockport Beach is located in the western portion of Aransas Bay in Aransas County, Texas. According to surveys conducted in accordance with the Beach Managment and Maintenance Plan during Cycle 8, Rockport Beach has experienced severe erosion and is in need of sand nourishment. The project will provide beach nourishment along Rockport Beach in accordance with the BMMP and will address approximately 4800 feet of shoreline erosion at Rockport Beach.
