Cove Harbor South Waterfront Revitalization Project

Project Description

Aransas County Navigation District's (ACND) has undertaken the cleanup of the surface space of Cove Harbor South and returning the underutilized section to optimum port usage.  By removing the failing bulkhead and installing approximately 170 linear feet of steel sheet pile with tie-back anchors and a reinforced concrete pile cap will revitalize Cove Harbor South.  The back filling of voids and site grading were also completed. And due to the safety hazard to vistors, a source of oil and grease-stained soil rain runoff was eliminated.
