Water Quality in Texas City

Project Description

Texas City is mobilizing to put several of the Best Management Practices by applying Public Education and Public Involvement. Public Education was accomplished, in part, by having city staff make presentations to business groups, contractors, civic groups, and school children. The Public Involvement Activity have citizen volunteers installing inlet markers on storm drains with a "Please Don’t Pollute" message.
