Freshwater Inflows and the Health of Galveston Bay

Project Description

Texas A&M University at Galveston will address the challenge of meeting rising human needs for water supply and water quality by focusing on the constituents of the nutrient and sediment load, specifically, nutrient (nitrate, nitrite, ammonia, urea, phosphate, silicate) and sediment (total suspended load, total dissolved load, total organic carbon, turbidity, particle size distribution) load components, which enter Galveston Bay.
